Two weeks ago when I overheard a barista meeting at my favorite coffee dealer, I knew I would soon have to get my morning jolt elsewhere. Today, I received more of a shock, when news broke that the other location nearest my workplace would be closing as well. What! It is bad enough that the location within walking distance of my company is closing. But the other one on the same road, too? Tell me that this is an error or a cruel joke.
I work on what could be called Money Road. There are profitable businesses there with some business owners and employees who have been more than eager to spend $5 for a morning beverage for the past 4 years. These specific closures probably shouldn't be happening...but they are. For those who would insist the economic crisis is hype or a myth, I'd say reconsider that view.
Meanwhile where I am I supposed to get my vanilla light foam cap. and plain bagel and still get to work on time? Oh, and the concept of arising earlier than necessary unfortunately is incomprehensible to me.

Are you KIDDING ME?! The second one that you're referring to isn't the one behind Walgreen's is it? At the intersection of two pretty major roads?
I'm getting dizzy. I think I have to sit down. I can't handle this news.
No wait, I won't sit. I have to go talk to my barista and make sure "my" coffee place is okay.
On the bright side...this will help you save some cash.

You know the concept of making your own coffee and sleeping 10 minutes LATER...think about it. Pretty fancy machines still work out less than 4 bucks a shot.
They also make something called frozen bagels, to use with a toaster so you dont need to risk burning down your kitchen when too sleepy to dial 911....
